Two New Members Appointed To Allison's Compaign Team
Ventura, CA - Jan. 12, 2010 - The Tim Allison For Congress campaign is ramping up its early efforts as a serious contender for California’s 24th Congressional District by appointing two new members to his campaign team; Linda Gassaway has been appointed the position of Communications and Event Coordinator; and her husband Miles Gassaway has been appointed head of Technology. The addition of the Gassaways is another key step in assembling a strong and dedicated team.
Linda Gassaway is a former member of Obama for America’s Field Team, working as the regional volunteer coordinator under then Field Director Deborah Dent. In her capacity, Linda was a key component in establishing Congressional District 24 regional phonebanks for the Obama campaign. She also worked under Ms. Dent (Southern California Lead), coordinating over 500 events for the National Day of Service. Ms. Gassaway is a business consultant in Ventura County.
Miles Gassaway is also a former member of Obama for America’s Field Team, working in all aspects of data management. Under Ms. Dent, Mr. Gassaway assisted in all data management functions required during the general election. Additionally, Miles and Linda canvassed for Obama in Nevada, both during, and in the final five days of GOTV. Miles will head up all phases of technology for the Allison for Congress campaign. Mr. Gassaway functions as IT Manager/Controller for private industry located in Ventura, Ca.
The Tim Allison Campaign previously announced the appointment of Deborah Dent as Field Director. Deborah Dent is a former member of Obama for America's Field Team. She was the Campaign Coordinator for California's 24th Congressional District during the 2007/2008 primary and general elections.
