Labor Leader Leo Valenzuela Endorses Tim Allison for Congress

“Tim Allison will be a fighter for California’s working families. His passion for education and putting people back to work will be a great asset to Ventura County,” said Leo Valenzuela, “It is time that we were represented by someone who is passionate about the job and will choose working families over big corporations. Tim Allison is a great candidate and will make a great member of Congress. He is the right choice for Congress” said Valenzuela.
“Tim’s background is well suited to representing the working folks of Ventura and Santa Barbara counties” said Valenzuela, “His mom was a teacher and his dad a union pipefitter. Through his parents he learned the value of education and hard work. He is the best candidate for Congress and has my full support.”
A successful business owner and a long-time resident of the Central Coast, Tim Allison is a real estate broker who has been helping people find homes in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties for the past seven years. He has also been an influential activist, having been an early campaign leader for Barack Obama and serving as an elected Obama delegate to the Democratic convention in Denver. He has worked on political campaigns in eight states, including a successful effort which now provides over $2 million per year for cleaning up ocean and creek pollution.
“I am honored and proud to accept this important endorsement. Leo Valenzuela is a hero in our community who has spent decades successfully fighting for working women and men. Leo got up every day and figured out what he could do to improve the quality of life for his members. That is what I want to do for my constituents if I am fortunate enough to be elected to Congress.” stated Tim Allison.
“With this endorsement comes the responsibility that I take very seriously,” said Allison. “As a member of Congress, I will work hard every day to help working families, jumpstart our economy, protect pensions, create good paying jobs, fix our healthcare system and improve education”
